HP Inkjet Printers 2360 is an excellent price; it’s compact, quiet, fast. However, buyer beware. What you’re saving in upfront printer cost, you will make up quickly in ink. I’ts not that the ink cartridges are so expensive; it’s that they don’t last long. I’ve had this printer less than 1 month and am on my 3rd ink cartridge. I contacted HP tech and was told the HP 21 black cartridge average is 150 pages. Ink cartridges for my previous printer, Epson Color Stylus 600, were more expensive, but one lasted for 3-4 months; I haven’t changed my printing output! The printer is nice, but if I had known the $$$$ of keeping ink in the printer would be so expensive, I wouldn’t have bought it.
By: KajyalI bought HP Inkjet Printers 2360 a month ago when thinking about a new computer. Before I was ready to do so my old printer ran out of ink. It was a Lexmark 605 which was a great printer, but the ink cost more than a new printer. This printer is easy to install & makes great copies. Then I bought a new computer with Windows Vista. I’m back to using old computer to print. Update: I did eventually get this to work after help from HP. If you had high speed no doubt this would be easier. Part of my problem may have been caused by local internet provider which cuts off downloads which are to long. HP tech support is better than most.

I bought this printer for my wife to keep on her nighttable when the old Epson printer she had ran out of ink. I priced new cartridges, thought about the slow speed of the printer she was using, and then decided to just chuck the old printer and buy this HP printer for 49 bucks. I always use HP printers in my work and have found them to last long and provide consistent, reliable output. It was easy to set up, easy to get it to work on my wife’s unfortunate Windoze laptop (I use Macs almost exclusively), it’s faster and produces better output quality than that nasty old Epson.
