I spent several weeks researching stand alone photo printers. My first priority was I wanted something that printed out a good quality photo. I am pleased with the output of the printer. I read on some reviews at other places that if you hold the photo up at a certain angle in bright line you can see faint streaks on the photo - from the printer roller. overall photo quality was very good and comparable with a printer I tested that cost an additional $100.
The printer was easy to setup and use. The interface easy to figure out without using the directions provided. The photo frames while something I’ll wont use often were fun to play around with. If you’re looking at the print resolution of up to 9600 x 2400 color dpi function - be warned you need to have it hooked up to your computer to utilize that. Overall a very good product and am glad I took the time to research my options.

I was tired of fighting my husband for ink on our multi-function printer that he uses for work (heaven forbid I use up all the yellow!) and wanted a small printer specialized for printing photos so I wouldn’t see all the little artifacts a less specialized printer seemed to leave. This printer is quite simply fantastic. If you can afford a dye sublimation printer, by all means go for it, that would be on my wish list as well.
One complaint (although hard to make because of the bargain price) is that I wish they had included the printer cable, because I had to make a second trip to the store to get a high speed USB cable because I did not have one with the right end. I’ve had trouble getting prints at best quality when printing right from a memory card, but that might be operator error.

I could not be happier with this printer. I just got it last night and printed about 40 pictures already. I bought a new canon camera recently (Canon PowerShot S5-IS) with the quality of pictures it takes and the pictures that this printer puts out, you would have thought they were proffesionally done.
The print quality is amazing. The printer has an auto-photo fix built to help print a better picture. It will print calandars, collages, pictures with frames, and even a picture index!. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for a compact printer. Great, Great, Great Product!!
